Information on the Battery Act

Information obligation according to the Battery Act (BattG)

Our products may contain batteries and rechargeable batteries. These must not be disposed of in household waste. Consumers are legally obliged to return batteries and rechargeable batteries to the designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection points or in our store). Returns are free of charge. Alternatively, you can also send used batteries and rechargeable batteries purchased from us back to us (Brewout Coffee Co, samuel Lerch & Nils-Henning Neß GbR, Freibadstr. 20a, DE-81543 Munich).

Batteries contain valuable raw materials that can be recycled. If disposed of improperly, the substances contained in batteries can have a negative impact on the environment and human health. Batteries must therefore be collected separately and recycled.

Explanation: The crossed-out garbage can symbol means that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste.
The abbreviations under the garbage can mean:

  • Pb: Battery contains lead
  • Cd: Battery contains cadmium
  • Hg: Battery contains mercury
