SSP Lab Sweet is designed to deliver a sweet and complex flavor profile with a good body and a pleasant mouthfeel, something difficult to achieve with conventional burrs. The grinder ensures optimal particle size distribution and enables consistent extraction for enhanced sweetness.
The Lab Sweet grinding discs are coated with Red Speed Titanium Aluminium Carbon Nitride (TiAICN). This coating increases the service life of the grinding discs and reduces friction. The third version of the Lab Sweet burrs is especially suitable for espresso, while the second version is more geared towards filter coffee. In version 2, both burrs (stationary and rotating) are identical. In version 3, the stationary burr remains the same, but the rotating burr is larger.
We recommend these burrs if you want to emphasize the fruity and complex aromas of your espresso.
Safety notice: Installing or replacing your burrs is done at your own risk and requires proper tools and experience. This process will shift the zero point of your grinder – therefore, carefully adjust to the new zero point and then readjust to avoid damaging the grinder and burrs. With different models listed as compatible, adjustments to the grinder settings may be necessary, for example, because the height of the SSP burrs differs from that of the standard burrs.
