How are pressure and flow time regulated?

With the help of the lever you can regulate the pressure and the brewing time of your espresso.

What materials are used for Superkop?

The housing is made of aluminum, the internal parts are made of stainless steel and the water tank is made of food-grade polycarbonate.

What is included in my Superkop delivery?

You will receive a Superkop hand lever machine with wooden board, Doppio portafilter and water container. You will also need a 58 mm tamper and barista tools.

Do parts need to be replaced over time?

After four years of testing, no replacement was necessary. We expect seals and gas springs to need replacing after about five years.

What is a pressure relief valve for?

A pressure relief valve opens at 20 bar to prevent the water cup from breaking. 9-11 bar is required for a good espresso.
